To get really good at what they do, medical students need to practise their interviewing and examination skills on real people.
As a member of the Volunteer Patient Program, you’ll help medical students learn the skills they need to become good doctors. You’ll get an inside look at medical training at º£½ÇÉçÇøapp Medical School, and you’ll see students progress through the year as their skills and confidence build.
A pair of first-year medical students will practise taking your medical history and perform a non-invasive medical exam under the direction of their tutor, a fully-licensed physician. You can be completely healthy or have a pre-existing medical condition.
You can volunteer once or more than once – whatever your schedule allows. Sessions are Tuesday afternoons (1:30-3:30) and Thursday mornings (9:30-11:30) throughout the academic year (October – March).
